Product Overview

MidShire GearShield EP 220 is a mineral-based extreme pressure (EP) gear oil formulated for use in enclosed industrial gearboxes, worm gear drives, and other heavily loaded gear systems. It meets the requirements of DIN 51517 Part 3 (CLP) and ISO 12925-1 CKC/CKD, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial gear applications.

The product contains a carefully selected sulphur-phosphorus EP additive package that provides effective protection under high loads and shock loading conditions, while maintaining compatibility with common seal materials and yellow metals where concentrations allow.
